Hi, I’m Nancy!

Hi, I’m Nancy, and I love homemade fruit smoothies, Starbucks Pink Drinks, and Mexican Cokes.

There are a lot of words that describe me, but my favorites are follower of Jesus, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, essential oil lover, beach bum, educator, puzzle lover, crocheter, and writer.  

I love to study God’s Word.  I became a christian a long time ago, but I am changed every time I’m in His word.  I’ve been married to my husband, Marty, for 35 years. Marriage is the best and the hardest (future blog post about this).  My children are my world, and my grandchildren are my world times a million!  I’ll be blogging about children and grandchildren too.  I’m blessed beyond measure to have many friends, and a few close friends who have lived life with me.  My friendship blog post will bless you!  I am a Young Living Brand Partner, which means I love essential oils and love sharing them with you! The beach, any beach, but especially Miramar Beach, FL is my favorite vacation.  After thirty plus years in education, I can still genuinely say, “I love my job.”  Finally, I love to write.  I have not journaled until this past year, and it has made me realize how much I miss writing.  

Many years ago I started blogging to get my thoughts on paper.  I loved it; however, my work schedule did not allow me to keep it up.  I truly did not have time to add blogging to my schedule.  So, I set it aside for many years.  As you can see, I’ve picked it back up. I’ m so excited!  It fulfills a creative yearning inside.  Watch out! I have many words in my brain ready to come out on paper. I hope you will keep coming back to read more about family, spiritual disciplines, favorite school/office supplies, essential oils and other “alternative” choices, friendship, teenagers, marriage, and the blessing of grandchildren (and more).
